WAYNE...NORTHEASTERN LUZERNE...NORTHWESTERN PIKE AND SOUTHEASTERN
WYOMING COUNTIES UNTIL 1000 PM EDT...

At 907 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Tompkinsville to near Old Forge to
Luzerne. Movement was east at 25 mph.

Small hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these 
storms. Heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may 
lead to minor flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded 
roadways.

Locations impacted include...
Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Falls, Dunmore, Kingston, Plains, 
Carbondale, Old Forge, Pittston and Archbald. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

The Lackawanna County Heritage Fair will also be impacted by these 
storms. Those attending the fair this evening should seek shelter 
indoors.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
