507 FNUS55 KPUB 281021 FWFPUB Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado National Weather Service Pueblo Co 421 AM MDT Tue May 28 2019 .Discussion... Unsettled weather will persist through the next week with another round of snow showers across the mountains and windy conditions across the lower elevations today. Isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible across the lower elevations this afternoon and evening, though these will be spotty and localized. Wednesday and Thursday will be cooler with another round of showers and thunderstorms possible in and near the mountains during the afternoon. These will drift eastward into the southeast plains during the evening and overnight hours particularly south of highway 50. Temperatures will warm again for Friday into early next week with isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms possible each day, particularly across the southeast plain. Afternoon dispersions will rise into the very good to excellent categories for most areas this afternoon given strong west winds. Exception to this will be the Palmer Divide where cooler temperatures and northerly winds may keep dispersions below the good category. Lighter winds on Wednesday will mean lower dispersions with most areas topping out in the fair to good category in the afternoon. --- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds --- COZ220-282300- Upper Arkansas River Valley Including Lake County and Chaffee County- 421 AM MDT Tue May 28 2019 .TODAY...
