Weather hazards expected... Elevated to Locally Significant flooding risk. Limited lightning risk. DISCUSSION... A weakening line of showers and thunderstorms will slowly push east overnight across extreme southeastern Kansas and western Missouri. This activity will fully diminish before sunrise, likely before it reaches the eastern Ozarks. Scattered cloud to ground lightning strikes and locally heavy rainfall will be the primary potential hazards with these storms. Flash flooding will remain possible overnight, especially across extreme southeastern Kansas and portions of west-central Missouri. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. Scattered thunderstorms will be possible at times through the weekend, especially across northern portions of the outlook area where a front will stall and then weaken.
