Northeastern Lubbock County in northwestern Texas... Floyd County in northwestern Texas... Northwestern Childress County in the Panhandle of Texas... Northwestern Crosby County in northwestern Texas... Northwestern Motley County in northwestern Texas... Hall County in the Panhandle of Texas... Southeastern Hale County in northwestern Texas... Southeastern Briscoe County in the Panhandle of Texas... * Until 615 PM CDT. * At 422 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated very heavy rain due to thunderstorms. A line of storms was training along an axis from just northeast of Lubbock up through Floydada to Quitaque and parts of Hall County including Turkey. Repeated storms moving through the same areas will cause urban and small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will result in minor flooding in the advisory area.
