Numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop over the Tri-State area tonight as an upper level disturbance approaches from the southwest. Heavy rainfall and isolated flash flooding will be possible. A few severe thunderstorms capable of producing quarter size hail will also be possible overnight, primarily south and southwest of Goodland. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY... Severe thunderstorms capable of producing quarter to golfball size hail and damaging wind gusts up to 65 mph will be possible across northwest Kansas and southwest Nebraska during the day on Tuesday. Near freezing temperatures will be possible in eastern Colorado early Wednesday morning, with frost possible along and west of Highway 83 in northwest Kansas and southwest Nebraska.
