751 FNUS55 KPUB 160547 FWFPUB Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado National Weather Service Pueblo Co 1147 PM MDT Wed May 15 2019 .Discussion... Unseasonably warm conditions will continue into Thursday with high temperatures in the 90s across the plains. Mid and high based moisture is expected to generate primarily isolated afternoon and evening thunderstorms Thursday, favoring the mountains. Winds are expected to increase Thursday and especially Friday as a storm system starts to impact the fire district. Thunderstorms will become more prevalent on Friday, particularly across the mountains. A cooler and unsettled meteorological pattern is projected return from this weekend into next week as a series of storm systems and surface cold fronts affects southern Colorado. These features will produce periodic chances for showers and thunderstorms to southern Colorado in combination with near to below seasonal temperatures. Increasing transport winds will produce excellent afternoon dispersion at most locations Thursday and Friday. --- Thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds --- COZ220-161015- Upper Arkansas River Valley Including Lake County and Chaffee County- 1147 PM MDT Wed May 15 2019 .REST OF TONIGHT...
