513 FNUS55 KPUB 151250 FWFPUB Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado National Weather Service Pueblo Co 650 AM MDT Wed May 15 2019 .Discussion... Unseasonably warm conditions will continue today and Thursday with high temperatures in the 90s across the plains. Mid and high based moisture will result in isolated afternoon and evening thunderstorms each day, particularly across the mountains. Winds will increase Thursday and especially Friday as a storm system starts to affect the region. Thunderstorms will become more prevalent on Friday, particularly across the mountains. A cooler and unsettled pattern will return for the weekend into next week as a series of storm systems and cold fronts affects the region. These will bring periodic chances for showers and thunderstorms to southern CO along with near to below normal temperatures. Afternoon smoke dispersions will rise into the good to very good category for most of southern CO. Weak to moderate surface based inversions will develop towards sundown with poor overnight dispersions. Increasing winds on Thursday will result in very good to excellent dispersions district wide. --- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds --- COZ220-152215- Upper Arkansas River Valley Including Lake County and Chaffee County- 650 AM MDT Wed May 15 2019 .TODAY...
