...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHEASTERN HYDE AND SOUTH
CENTRAL DARE COUNTIES...

At 502 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Hatteras Ferry
Terminal, or 10 miles west of Frisco, moving east at 40 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph and dime size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Frisco, Buxton, Hatteras Ferry Terminal and Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.

Seek Shelter in a nearby building or vehicle. Strong winds are
capable of knocking down small trees and blowing around trash cans,
potted plants, lawn furniture and other light outdoor objects.
