Through 10:00 AM, scattered showers will move slowly to the north northeast at 7 knots from the across Hawk Channel and parts of the Lower Keys into the Gulfside and Bayside waters. This activity will produce brief downpours reducing visibilities to 3 miles or less, wind gusts up to 25 knots and possible lightning strikes. On land, some areas from Big Pine Key and No Name Key may see accumulation amounts of up to one to two hundredths of an inch of additional rainfall. Elsewhere, some spotty areas of light showers are in the southeast Gulf of Mexico just north of Ellis Rock light and Smith Shoal Light. These showers are also moving slowly north northeast at less than 10 knots and could reduce visibilities below 3 miles and may contain wind gusts up to 20 knots. $$ SC
