...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR CENTRAL BLAINE...NORTHEASTERN
LINCOLN AND NORTH CENTRAL MINIDOKA COUNTIES UNTIL 245 PM MDT...

At 157 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 13 miles west of Gannett to 10 miles east of
Carey. Movement was south at 15 mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Carey, Picabo, Magic Reservoir and Shoshone Ice Caves. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If on or near Magic Reservoir, get out of the water and move indoors 
or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 10 miles 
from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close 
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not 
be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
