...A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM CDT FOR CHARITON...
RANDOLPH...NORTHERN PETTIS...SOUTHEASTERN CARROLL...HOWARD...
SALINE...SOUTHWESTERN MACON AND COOPER COUNTIES...

At 553 PM CDT, transportation department officials reported closures 
of several roads due to flooding across the warned area. In excess 
of two inches of rain has fallen and periods of thunderstorms will 
continue through much of the evening. Another inch of rain is 
possible which isolated higher amounts possible.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Sedalia, Moberly, Marshall, Boonville, Fayette, Slater, Salisbury,
Huntsville, Sweet Springs, Glasgow, La Monte, New Franklin,
Brunswick, Pilot Grove, Higbee, Keytesville, Otterville, Bunceton,
Clark and Cairo.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
