...Lakeshore Flooding is Possible through Early Afternoon...

.Strong north to northeast winds will continue to cause high lake
levels through early afternoon in the western basin of Lake Erie.
Waves of 6 to 10 feet waves could threaten the area with 
lakeshore flooding and erosion.

...LAKESHORE FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EDT THIS
AFTERNOON...

* LAKE SHORE FLOODING...Lake levels on the western basin will 
  continue to exceed 60 inches above low water datum. The high 
  lake levels, combined with 6 to 10 foot waves may cause 
  lakeshore flooding and erosion. 

* TIMING...Through this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Flooding is possible along the immediate lakeshore. 
  Beach and shoreline erosion may also occur. Rising water 
  levels in marinas and waterways into the lake could submerge 
  docks and shoreline structures. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Lakeshore Flood Watch is issued when conditions are favorable
for lakeshore flooding to develop. Residents on or near the shore
should begin to take action to protect property. Listen for later
statements or warnings.
