Skies were sunny across the tri-state region today. West to
northwest winds were observed at 10 to 15 mph. At 1 PM MDT (2 PM 
CDT) temperatures ranged from 61 degrees in Oakley, Kansas to 70 
degrees in Wray, Colorado.

OUTLOOK... Expect lows in the upper 30s to low 40s overnight under
clear skies. Temperatures climb into the 80s on Saturday, with
sunny skies and southerly winds at 10 to 15 mph. Near critical
fire weather conditions will be possible for locations along and
west of Highway 27. Lows are in the mid 40s to low 50s Saturday
night.

A cold front impacts Sunday's temperatures, with highs ranging
from the mid 60s in Yuma, Colorado to near 80 degrees in Hill 
City, Kansas. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible. Cannot
rule out a few severe thunderstorms east of Highway 283.
