New snow amounts of up to an inch can be expected through tonight, mainly along the higher peaks of the Continental Divide. A few thunderstorms will be possible along the Continental Divide this afternoon, and across the far eastern plains this evening. The main hazards with any storms that do develop will be cloud to ground lightning, hail up to one half inch in diameter, and wind gusts up to 45 mph. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Snow will fall over the mountains all day on Wednesday, with higher amounts falling over the eastern mountains, with 5-8 inches expected over them. The Continental Divide should expect around 3-6 inches. Isolated thunderstorms, some severe, are possible on Wednesday afternoon over the southeastern plains. Lighting, wind gusts up to 60 mph, and hail up to an inch are possible under the strongest storms. There is the possibility that of an isolated landspout, as well. Near critical fire weather conditions will exist over the easter plains on Friday and Saturday. The next chance at weather system will be Sunday afternoon into Monday, with snow over the mountains and thunderstorm over the plains expected. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
