Temperatures across the area at 11 a.m., ranged from 45 degrees at Lacon, to 53 degrees at Flora and Lawrenceville. After a period of quiet weather today, another large storm system will begin to approach from the southwest this evening. This will bring widespread rainfall to much of the region, with rain totals in excess of one inch possible by the time the system departs the area on Sunday afternoon and evening. A narrow band of accumulating snow is possible on the northwest fringe of the system tonight and into Sunday, affecting eastern Iowa, southern Wisconsin and into northern Illinois. High temperatures today, will range from near 40 degrees across Wisconsin, to the middle 60s across western Kentucky. Overnight low temperatures, will range from the lower 20s across the northern half of Wisconsin, to the middle 50s across western Kentucky, $$ JRP
