FOR SOUTHERN LANCASTER...NORTHWESTERN JOHNSON...JEFFERSON...
SOUTHWESTERN OTOE...SOUTHERN SALINE AND GAGE COUNTIES...

At 848 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Pickrell to 7 miles southwest of Fairbury, moving
northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar and public indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind 
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Southern Lincoln, Beatrice, Fairbury, Wilber, Hickman, Wymore,
Bennet, Firth, Palmyra, De Witt, Cortland, Sterling, Plymouth, Blue
Springs, Odell, Diller, Panama, Western, Clatonia and Hallam.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
