No hazardous weather is expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Tuesday... Showers will be possible along a passing cold front on Thursday, mainly across the eastern half of the region where more moisture will be present ahead of the front. By this weekend, the threat of thunderstorms will expand to include the entire region as an upper level storm system will lift northeastward across the Plains. The resulting increase in shear and instability will lead to the potential for some strong to severe storms late Saturday through Sunday night along and ahead of a trailing cold front. It appears that all modes of severe weather will be possible in addition to an isolated flooding threat that will also exist with as much as two to four inches of rainfall through early Sunday morning. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Activation of emergency managers, spotter networks, and amateur radio operators will not be required through Friday morning. $$
