URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...INTENSE LATE WINTER STORM TO BRING WIDE VARIETY OF WEATHER TO 
NORTHEAST WISCONSIN LATER THIS WEEK...

.A significant late winter storm is expected to bring a wide 
variety of weather to northeast Wisconsin starting late Wednesday 
afternoon and not end until Friday afternoon. A mix of rain and
snow is forecast to overspread central and east-central Wisconsin
Wednesday afternoon and overspread northern Wisconsin Wednesday
night. This snow may become locally heavy at times. As warmer air
aloft arrives late Wednesday night into Thursday, a wintry mix
will develop with sleet, freezing rain and rain. In addition to
the wintry precipitation, winds are forecast to increase to 15 to
30 mph with gusts of 30 to 40 mph.

  accumulations of 4 to 6 inches possible. Ice accumulations of up
  to one-tenth of an inch possible. Winds could gust as high as 
  40 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of central and northeast Wisconsin.

* WHEN...From Wednesday evening through Thursday afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The 
  hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.
