Showers lingered across a few spots in Iowa this morning, mostly in a
relatively narrow line from southwest Iowa and on up through Fort
Dodge and and toward the Iowa Falls and Mason City areas. Otherwise, 
the remainder of the state continued to see predominantly cloudy skies
and breezy easterly winds. Temperatures this morning remained on the 
fairly mild side around low to mid 40s and had only warmed up to the 
mid and upper 40s by late this morning. 

Temperatures will warm up to end the week and remain on the warm side
through the weekend. Highs will crawl up to the upper 50s to mid 60s
tomorrow, followed by widespread mid to upper 60s Saturday and Sunday.
A few fortunate central and southern Iowa spots will likely see low 
70s during the weekend, especially Saturday.

On the precipitation side of the coin, remaining light rain will fade
out this evening and leave Friday dry as well. Opportunities for
showers and some thunder will return for the weekend, especially
Sunday where more widespread showers and thunder are expected.
