This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling
Plains and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Very warm temperatures and dry southwesterly winds at 25 to 30 
mph will create elevated fire weather conditions for the South 
Plains and extreme southwestern Texas Panhandle this afternoon. A 
fire danger statement is in effect.

Isolated thunderstorms may be possible across the northern Rolling
Plains and far southeastern Texas Panhandle late this afternoon
through tonight. A few of the storms will become severe with large
hail to tennis ball size, wind gusts to 70 mph, and maybe an
isolated tornado.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

The probability of widespread hazardous weather is low.

Spotter activation may be requested across portions of Childress,
Hall, Briscoe, Cottle, and Motley Counties.
