Scattered showers associated with an exiting disturbance are con-
tinuing to move out of the region at this time. Have dropped the
mention of precipitation for the rest of this afternoon. Will be
expecting the return of patchy MVFR CIGS tonight as the elevated
winds at the surface (and just above the surface) persist. Given
this onshore pattern, isolated to widely scattered streamer WAA-
type showers are possible early tomorrow morning along the coast.
Based on the model consensus, the timing of the cold front tomor-
row will be after this current TAF package. However, did hint at
the start of some pre-frontal activity at CLL late tomorrow morn-
ing. 41

NEAR TERM [Through Today]...

Jet streak coming across SE Texas in water vapor imagery should 
continue to support a few showers this morning through the early 
afternoon. The system should move east fairly quickly and allow 
for skies to scatter more. Temperatures should still reach the mid
and upper 70s with the warm air advection pattern. Surface 
analysis has cold front located in the Texas Panhandle and NW 
Oklahoma. This front should reach the area tomorrow afternoon and 
evening. There may be a small window for isolated thunderstorm 
activity. Forecast will take a closer look at that potential for 
the afternoon update. This morning only real changes were for PoP 
and temp/dewpoint trends for this morning.
