  Spring Creek at Zap affecting Mercer County 
For the Knife River Basin including Zap...Minor flooding is occurring
and is expected to continue.

.Spring Creek at Zap will remain near flood stage this morning, and
continue to fall this afternoon. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...


Safety message...Do not drive into areas where water tops the 
roadway. Turn around...Don't drown. Avoid driving on flooded roads.

* At 10:15 AM Saturday the stage was 13.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast...Spring Creek at Zap will remain near flood stage this morning, and
  continue to fall this afternoon. 
* Impact...At 14.0 feet...Right bank overflows-west end of Zap begins 
  to flood. Crop landand county roads flood along creek as well.
