The dry frontal boundary that pushed through the area overnight is now well offshore. Upper level ridging building across the region in it's wake will keep skies clear and temperatures seasonal. PREV DISCUSSION... /issued 322 AM CDT Thu Mar 21 2019/ DISCUSSION...A reinforcing cold front is currently moving into the gulf this morning. High pressure is building in from the plains. This will provide another seasonable and sunny day across the region. A repeat is expected for Friday wile the ridge is overhead. The ridge axis will move east of the area Saturday starting the return flow. This will increase temperatures and moisture into early Tuesday until another cold front pushes through. A few showers and perhaps a thunderstorm can be expected this weekend in the area, but scattered showers and storms are not expected across most of the area until the next front moves in which will occur Monday into early Tuesday. Dry weather is again expected during the middle of next week as high pressure moves through. MARINE...A light to moderate offshore flow is expected this morning as a cold front moves through, however a ridge will quickly build in from the north today. A light offshore flow is then expected into early Friday before the winds become onshore during the afternoon.
