Regional 88D was showing a narrow band of precip extending from about west-central IA to south-central KS. Best omega will continue to shift southward through tonight as the upper system heads deeper into the central Plains and precip shifts to southern IA/northern MO. Models are in good agreement dry conditions will prevail the next several days along with a warming trend aided by a narrow elongated upper ridge building in from the west.
