500 FNUS55 KPUB 190536 FWFPUB Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado National Weather Service Pueblo Co 1136 PM MDT Mon Mar 18 2019 .Discussion... An upper disturbance will cross the region from the north tonight and tomorrow, bringing cooler air and increased cloud cover to the forecast area through tomorrow as well as some mountain snow and rain showers to the lower elevations. The areas with the best chance for some snow tomorrow evening will be the southern foothills as well as the southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains and the Wet Mountains. After a brief break for Wednesday, a stronger low pressure system will approach from the Pacific, affecting the Continental Divide Thursday afternoon and all of the forecast area Thursday night through Saturday. Unsettled conditions will then remain in place for Sunday and Monday. Ventilation rates will likely remain Fair over the upper elevations of the mountains tonight due to stronger winds aloft, while the lower elevations and plains become Poor. Inversions are then expected to break early tomorrow, between 0800 and 1000, with most areas improving to Good to Very Good by 1200. --- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds --- COZ220-191015- Upper Arkansas River Valley Including Lake County and Chaffee County- 1136 PM MDT Mon Mar 18 2019 .REST OF TONIGHT...
