935 FNUS53 KJKL 122003 FWFJKL Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky National Weather Service Jackson KY 403 PM EDT Tue Mar 12 2019 .DISCUSSION...High pressure passing to our north on Tuesday will move off the East Coast on Wednesday, but will still be able to bring another day of dry weather. However, we will start to feel the effects of a very large and intense low pressure system over the Central Plains. Between the two, our winds will begin to pick up out of the south and result in warmer temperatures on Wednesday. Moisture will lag a bit, and relative humidity is forecast to bottom out from 25% to 30% in most locations on Wednesday. An increase in moisture from the Gulf of Mexico will finally arrive Thursday. This will support a potential for showers Thursday and Thursday night.
