...A BAND OF LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL AFFECT ORLEANS...MONROE...
WAYNE...AND CAYUGA COUNTIES...

At 438 AM EST, A band of lake effect snow producing snow fall rates 
of 1 to 2 inches per hour will continue across northern and eastern 
Wayne County, northern Cayuga County, and the southwest corner of 
Oswego County from Ontario to Sodus, Martville, and Hannibal. The 
western end of the band of snow will also move farther onshore into 
Orleans and northwest Monroe counties from Lyndonville to Kent and 
Brockport. 

Travel will be very difficult in areas of lake effect snow, with 
greatly reduced visibility and snow covered roads. This includes 
much of the Route 104 corridor, the Greater Rochester Area close to 
Lake Ontario, and portions of Interstate 81 in southern Oswego 
County. Slow down and allow extra time when traveling.
