Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the 
region over the next several days.

An Arctic front approaching from the Great Lakes will cross the
region this evening. This will bring a reinforcing shot of
unseasonably cold and blustery conditions. Snow showers are likely
over the Allegheny and Potomac Highlands tonight, and a few
flurries are possible east of the mountains this evening.

High pressure will build from the midsection of the country
toward the Mid-Atlantic Wednesday into Thursday resulting in a
continuation of below normal temperatures.

A weak area of low pressure approaching from the Tennessee Valley
may bring light rain or snow to the region Friday.
