EVENING ABOVE 7000 FEET...

* WHAT...Snow expected above 7000 feet. Total snow accumulations 
  of 5 to 10 inches expected. Snow totals over 1 foot possible 
  above 9500 feet. Winds could gust as high as 60 mph.

* WHERE...Eastern Sierra Slopes including Aspendell and Whitney 
  Portal.

* WHEN...through 6 PM PST.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult to 
  impossible. Strong winds could cause tree damage.
