Patchy freezing fog will be possible over much of the area, mainly west of a Gove to Hoxie to McCook line. In addition to causing low visibilities, the fog could create slick spots on area roads. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY... On Friday morning, patchy freezing fog will continue over the western half of the area. Bitter cold temperatures and wind chill values are anticipated this weekend as Arctic high pressure builds southward through the Dakotas into the Central Plains. Periods of snow are expected as a series of upper level disturbances track east across the Rockies and High Plains.
