Muscatatuck River...Wabash River...White River... .The river levels are still recovering from numerous rounds of precipitation that brought up to 4 inches of rainfall to Indiana over the past couple of weeks, with the heaviest amounts in the southern part of the state. As of Wednesday afternoon, the crest on the Wabash River was approaching Riverton and will move downstream through the very beginning of March. The other waterways are expected to generally remain flat then fall or continue to fall. Flooding is expected to end by March 3rd. Mostly dry weather is expected through the week followed by a precipitation event this weekend that could have an effect on area waterways. Flooding is currently affecting local and state roads, a small number of cabins, and considerable agricultural land. Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
