High pressure settled over central and southeast Illinois on
Monday. This brought lighter winds but cold temperatures. Mid
afternoon readings ranged from 23 in Galesburg, to 38 in Flora.

A series of weak weather systems will track across the Midwest for
Tuesday through Thursday. This will bring periods of light rain or
snow to some areas, while other locations will remain dry.
Temperatures will remain below normal across the upper Midwest,
while above normal readings are expected closer to the Ohio 
Valley.

Low temperatures tonight will range from the single digits in
northeast Iowa, to the lower 30 in southern Missouri. Highs on
Tuesday will range from the teens in northern Iowa, to near 60
degrees in southern Missouri.
