261 FNUS55 KPUB 230603 FWFPUB Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado National Weather Service Pueblo Co 1103 PM MST Fri Feb 22 2019 .Discussion... An intensifying winter storm will bring widespread snow across much of southern Colorado tonight through Saturday morning. The heaviest snow will transition from the Continental Divide eastward into the southeast mountains and plains during this period. Snow will also be wind driven with the potential for white out conditions at times across the plains, particularly east of I-25 where the heaviest snow and strongest winds will combine. This system will pull east of the area Saturday afternoon with dry weather returning. Temperatures will moderate for early next week with the potential for an unsettled period of snow for the mountains late week. In spite of cooler wetter conditions...strong winds on Saturday will lead to Very good smoke dispersions over most of the district. Dispersions on Sunday will be slightly lower. --- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds --- COZ220-231115- Upper Arkansas River Valley Including Lake County and Chaffee County- 1103 PM MST Fri Feb 22 2019 .REST OF TONIGHT...
