Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the 
region over the next several days.

Sprawling high pressure will build from the northern Plains to the
Great Lakes tonight and Tuesday. Dry conditions and below normal
temperatures can be expected.

A complex low pressure system will bring a moderate winter storm 
threat from late tonight through Wednesday night. Significant 
amounts of snow and ice are possible across parts of the area. A 
stationary front should remain far enough to our south for most 
areas to become dry for Thursday and Friday.
