This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Wind chills near zero are anticipated overnight in Russell County. 

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Russell County will have wind chills near zero early Tuesday
morning. 

Widespread light to moderate snow is expected to spread 
northeast across the region Tuesday through Tuesday night. The 
latest trends suggest accumulations of one to five inches are 
possible with some locally higher amounts. A rain and snow mix may 
limit accumulations across far southeast Kansas. Furthermore, the 
snow could mix with and eventually change to patchy freezing
drizzle for a time Tuesday evening. A Winter Weather Advisory has 
been issued for Tuesday afternoon through early Wednesday. Please 
see the advisory text for more information. 

Another round of wintry weather is possible Saturday through
Saturday night. Considerable uncertainty exists surrounding this 
period so stay tuned.
