An exiting storm system will drop light snow accumulations on northeast Nevada into parts of White Pine County. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. The next weather system will begin to affect northwest Nevada Tuesday night and then cross the state through Thursday. Temperatures will be cold enough for all the precipitation to be snow. Northern Nevada will receive the most accumulation over the Tuesday night through Thursday period. Amounts will range from a couple inches total in lower valleys, to 2 to 4 inches in higher valleys, to over 6 inches in the mountains. Central and eastern Nevada will receive lesser amounts. Confidence in these snow totals is still low to moderate and we will be updating them as we get closer.
