Light winds shifted to the north at 15 to 30 mph as a cold front pushed through. At 1 PM MST (2 PM CST) temperatures ranged from 35 degrees in Norton, Kansas to 63 degrees in Tribune, Kansas. OUTLOOK... A wintry mix of freezing drizzle and light snow is anticipated to develop overnight as temperatures fall into the mid teens to low 20s. The mix should last through Friday morning, exiting the region west to east. Dry conditions return in the afternoon as a tight temperature gradient sets up, with highs ranging from the low 50s in east central Colorado down to the low 20s in north central Kansas. Cloud cover decreases overnight with temperatures falling into the teens and low 20s. The next chance for precipitation comes on Saturday when light snow will be possible. $$
