The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a

* Flood Warning for Urban Areas and Small Streams in...
  San Bernardino County in southern California...
  Riverside County in southern California...

* Until 500 PM PST Thursday

* At 1050 AM PST, local law enforcement reported areas of ongoing 
  flooding throughout Western Riverside and Southwestern San 
  Bernardino County, including Big Bear City, Cabazon, Murrieta, and 
  Lake Elsinore. Additional heavy rain will move into the region 
  this afternoon and exacerbate ongoing flooding conditions. Over 
  nine inches of rain have been reported at Yucaipa Ridge in the San 
  Bernardino Mountains. 

* Some locations that will likely experience continued flooding 
  include...
  Riverside, San Bernardino, Fontana, Moreno Valley, Ontario, 
  Corona, Big Bear City, Victorville, Temecula, Rialto and Hesperia.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.
