954 FNUS55 KPUB 141704 FWFPUB Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado National Weather Service Pueblo Co 1004 AM MST Thu Feb 14 2019 .Discussion... Strong westerly winds are expected from around the I-25 corridor and over and near the mountains today. Portions of Pueblo county may have humidities that are low enough to reach red flag criteria for awhile this afternoon, but it didn't look widespread enough to issue a highlight. Snow will continue along the Continental Divide today and into about midday Friday. This evening, snow will spread across the San Luis Valley and into the eastern mountains. Some light precipitation is also expected over the southeast plains tonight. Precipitation will mostly end across southern Colorado by midday Friday. The next round of snow moves into the mountains Friday night through at least midday Saturday. Then the next good chance for snow is expected on Monday. Good to Very Good dispersion is expected this afternoon over the eastern mountains, the I-25 corridor and eastward to about La Junta and eastern Las Animas county, and at the lower elevations of Chaffee county. much of the San Luis Valley will see Poor dispersion today, as will the far southeast plains, although there could be a brief period of Fair dispersion. --- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds --- COZ220-142315- Upper Arkansas River Valley Including Lake County and Chaffee County- 1004 AM MST Thu Feb 14 2019 .REST OF TODAY...
