EVENING...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 
  inches expected.

* WHERE...In Washington, Central Columbia River Gorge. In 
  Oregon, Upper Hood River Valley and Central Columbia River 
  Gorge.

* WHEN...Through 10 PM this evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The 
  hazardous conditions could impact travel.

* CONFIDENCE IN THIS EVENT...Moderate to high. There is a chance 
  temperatures will warm to just above freezing early Thursday 
  evening, a little sooner than expected. This would result in 
  slightly lower snowfall totals.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you

EVENING...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of
  1 to 3 inches and ice accumulations up to one quarter of an 
  inch expected. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Western Columbia River Gorge in Washington and Oregon.

* WHEN...Through 10 PM this evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Power outages and tree damage are likely 
  due to the ice. Travel could be nearly impossible. Gusty winds 
  could bring down tree branches.

* IMPACTS...Travel will likely be difficult along I-84 and WA SR-
   14. Avoid traveling through the western Columbia River Gorge 
  on Thursday.

* CONFIDENCE IN THIS EVENT...Moderate to high. There is a chance 
  temperatures will warm just above freezing late Thursday 
  afternoon, slightly sooner than expected. This would result in
