...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow and blowing snow. Additional snow 
  accumulations of 7 to 13 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 
  mph also producing blowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE...Oswego county.

* WHEN...Scattered snow showers will become numerous this
  afternoon, then lake effect snow will organize into lake bands
  and head slowly south through the county overnight. The warning
  continues until 7 AM EST Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will be very difficult. Areas of 
  blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility. The 
  hazardous conditions will impact the morning and evening 
  commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Widespread accumulating snow will create dangerous travel
conditions.

  accumulations of 3 to 5 inches, with 5 to 9 inches across the 
  Tug Hill. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph also producing 
  blowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE...Jefferson and Lewis counties.

* WHEN...Scattered snow showers will become numerous this
  afternoon, then lake effect snow will organize into lake bands
  and head slowly south through the counties this evening. The
  warning continues until 10 PM EST this evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will be very difficult. Areas of 
  blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility. The 
  hazardous conditions will impact the morning and evening 
  commutes.

  snow.

* WHERE...Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Southern Erie 
  counties.

* WHEN...Until 1 AM EST Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas 
  of blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility. The 
  hazardous conditions will impact the morning and evening 
  commutes. Gusty winds may also bring down some tree branches.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Lake effect snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If
traveling, be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and
visibilities.
