Get out and enjoy the mild weather today...because changes are on 
the way for the end of the week. Today will be warm and pleasant 
with highs in the 50s and 60s and light south winds. Warmest 
readings will be over the southwest half of the area. A steady 
stream of high clouds will lead to partly to mostly cloudy 
conditions...but this will easily be the nicest weather for at least 
the next 7 days. Changes begin to arrive on Thursday...Valentine’s 
Day...especially north of the state line...as a cold front moves in 
from the north. Highs will range from the upper 20s near Ord to the 
low 50s across north central Kansas. All areas will experience cold 
temperatures Friday through the weekend. The next chance for snow 
arrives on Friday with generally one to four inches of accumulation 
expected...highest north of the state line.
