790 AWUS84 KLZK 111834 RWSLZK ARZ001>075-120430- Weather Summary for Arkansas National Weather Service Little Rock AR 1234 PM CST Mon Feb 11 2019 Moderate to heavy rainfall was observed across portions of central, north central, and north east Arkansas overnight into the morning hours on Monday. As of noon Monday, two to four inches of rainfall had already fallen across the affected area. In addition to heavy rainfall, area roadways adjacent to creeks and rivers were rising where the heaviest of rainfall had occurred. Remember, if you come up on a flooded roadway, turn around don't drown. An additional one to three inches of rain will be possible across central, northern, and eastern Arkansas through the evening into Tuesday morning as more rounds of precipitation move through the state. Temperatures this afternoon will warm into the upper 40s to mid 50s north of a stalled out frontal boundary which includes portions of central and northern Arkansas. South of the boundary, including much of south and south east portions of the state, temperatures will reach the mid to upper 60s. The front will begin to move east on Tuesday, rain will come to an end from west to east. High temperatures will top out in the 40s and 50s. Dry weather will continue through mid week as high pressure moves into the region. Mostly sunny conditions will be seen through Wednesday. By late week, a new storm system will move into the state which bringing more unsettled weather to the Natural State. $$
