194 FNUS54 KHUN 102029 FWFHUN Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northern Alabama National Weather Service Huntsville AL 229 PM CST Sun Feb 10 2019 .DISCUSSION... Light showers will continue this afternoon ahead of a brief clearing line in sky cover. Clouds will quickly wrap back in late tonight as a warm front crosses over the area and progresses northward into Tennessee. This will also trigger another round of scattered showers late tonight and throughout the day Monday. Ceilings and mixing heights remain low, but increasing transport winds will yield fair dispersion rates. A line of heavy rain will cross through the area from west to east late Monday night into early Tuesday morning. Expect gusty winds, occasional lightning, and brief heavy rainfall with this system. Overall rain totals should stay been 1 and 1.5" with higher amounts possible in any stronger segments of the storm. Winds become northerly on Monday behind a cold front with strong transport winds and clearing skies, producing very good dispersion rates. Fog potential over the next few days: None at this time. Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None at this time.
