.Widespread fog is expected to develop across parts of northwest
Kansas during the overnight hours and persist into Saturday 
morning. The fog will be dense at times and reduce visibility to a
quarter of a mile or less. Temperatures will drop below freezing,
and the fog may freeze to elevated surfaces and create a few 
slick spots on roadways until the temperature rises above freezing
Saturday morning.

...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM MST /3 AM CST/ TO 9 AM
MST /10 AM CST/ SATURDAY...

The National Weather Service in Goodland has issued a Dense Fog
Advisory, which is in effect from 2 AM MST /3 AM CST/ to 9 AM MST
/10 AM CST/ Saturday.

* Visibilities...One quarter mile or less at times.

* Timing/Duration...during the late overnight hours through mid
  Saturday morning. The fog may persist a bit longer in eastern
  portions of the advisory area. 

* Other Impacts...a light glaze of ice may be deposited on
  elevated surfaces and roadways due to freezing fog. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibility will frequently be one
quarter mile or less in fog. If driving...slow down and be
prepared for sudden drops in visibility...especially near
rivers...creeks and low lying areas. Use your headlights on low
beams and drive defensively.
