.SYNOPSIS...Mainly dry weather is expected into Thursday, with 
chances for rain and snow showers moving across the southern and 
central portions of the state Thursday night and early Friday. 
Quiet conditions later Friday will give way to a more unsettled 
pattern for the weekend and early next week.

.DISCUSSION...
A weak disturbance is pushing across the state early this morning
with the potential for generally light showers across the White
Mountains. The northern third of the state has already cleared out
however. Dry conditions are expected from later today into
Thursday before low pressure swings across southern AZ Thursday
night. Impacts are expected to be rather minimal with this
passage, though showers are expected with snow levels right around
7000 feet. 

A more significant system looks likely for the weekend with rain
and accumulating high elevation snow expected. Details to become
clearer in the coming days, but the timing of this system
currently looks to peak around Saturday night. Stay tuned.

.AVIATION...For the 12Z Package...Expect VFR conditions over the
next 24 hours. Ceilings between 6-12 kft above ground level will
remain through 18Z south of KFLG. Generally light winds of 10 kts
or less. A few light showers from KJTC and south are possible 
through 00Z Thurs. Aviation discussion not updated for TAF 
amendments.

.FIRE WEATHER...Mild and mostly dry weather will persist through
Thursday morning with generally light winds. A passing disturbance 
will bring an increasing chance for rain and mountain snow showers
Thursday afternoon and night.

Friday through Sunday...A few light showers are possible on
Friday. A more substantial weather system will bring good 
chances for rain and snow, along with cooler temperatures and 
breezy winds, from Saturday through Sunday.
