Through 1000 am, scattered showers and areas of light rain will move quickly to the northeast across the Florida Keys, the adjacent waters of Hawk Channel and the Bay and Gulf side, the offshore Gulf waters to the northwest and north of the Lower Keys, and the Atlantic waters south of the Middle and Upper Keys. An additional area of widely scattered showers resides over the Florida Straits. The strongest showers will produce periods of poor visibility within pockets of heavy rain, along with wind gusts near 25 knots. An isolated lightning strike will also be possible. Over land, some areas will see periods of light rain, producing rainfall amounts of less than one tenth of an inch. $$
