Look for snow showers to continue off and on into early afternoon. Additional snow accumulation of up to a half an inch will be possible from these, mainly in the higher terrain of eastern Kentucky. With temperatures down in the teens and lower 20s expect slick spots and hazardous conditions on untreated roads to persist through tonight. Temperatures will drop quickly after dark tonight with wind chill values down near zero degrees at times after being in the single digits for much of the day. The snow showers will taper off to flurries and end from west to east later this afternoon and early this evening. $$ DJ/GREIF
