Sustained winds of 30 to 40 mph, with gusts to 50 to 55 mph will be common through the late evening hours before gradually weakening late tonight. A Wind Advisory is in effect for spots on the Caprock until midnight and for the Rolling Plains until 6 am Saturday. In addition, light snow will be possible across the southern Texas Panhandle into the northern South Plains late this evening. A dusting of snow will be possible in a few spots though overall impacts should be minimal. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday A risk for wildfires may redevelop on Monday due to unusually warm and very breezy conditions. $$
