...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 AM PST FOR
NORTHWESTERN INYO COUNTY...

At 736 AM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 
rain continuing in the northern Owens Valley. This will cause minor 
flooding in the advisory area.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Bishop, Independence, Big Pine, Millpond Campground, Sawmill Creek
Campground, Tinemaha Campground, Independence Creek Campground, Big
Trees Campground, Goodale Creek Campground, Glacier View Campground,
Round Valley, Mesa, Creekside Rv Park, Mountain Glen Campground,
Wilkerson, Oak Creek Campground, Forks Campground, Browns Town
Campground, Baker Creek Campground and Taboose Creek Campground.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
